The market
We measure a market before we work it. These are the real numbers for Minneapolis, pulled from the federal broadband record and from live availability checks we ran ourselves.
The build in Minneapolis
About 64,700 of about 117,000 addresses on the public address list for Minneapolis are already on the T-Mobile fiber build (range 55,100 to 74,000). About 34,800 could order service on October 4, 2026, the day we checked (range 26,700 to 44,200). The rest are on the network operator’s record and not yet open for orders. These are estimates from a random sample of 141 of those addresses, which is why each comes with a range.
RCLX checked 141 addresses across Minneapolis on October 4, 2026. 29.8% of them could order T-Mobile fiber that day, with a 95 percent range of 22.9%–37.8%. 55.3% of those addresses sat inside the T-Mobile fiber footprint (95 percent range 47.1% to 63.3%), either orderable that day or already on the network operator's record. The federal Broadband Data Collection, filing dated December 31, 2025, counts 5,690 homes where cable cannot advertise 100 Mbps up in Minneapolis. That filing describes every provider in the market, not RCLX, and it runs about six months behind what is in the ground. In Minneapolis that federal filing has not caught up with the fiber T-Mobile acquired here, so it undercounts fiber and our own live checks are the figure to read. RCLX is an independent door to door sales agency for fiber internet providers and is not affiliated with or endorsed by T-Mobile USA, Inc.
What that looks like on the ground
Beyond what is orderable today, the operator was already on record on another 25.5% of the addresses we checked without those being open for orders yet. That is the pipeline sitting behind the number above, not a promise about timing.
Homes with fiber from any provider
Every fiber network filed here, ours and everyone else’s. It measures the competition, not our build.
137,580 (72.1%)
FCC filing
Homes on cable
The incumbent to displace. Cable reaches most of the market almost everywhere.
186,459 (97.8%)
FCC filing
Cable homes that cannot advertise 100 Mbps up
Upload is where coax loses. These are advertised speeds, so treat this as the pitch angle rather than a scorecard.
5,690 (3.0% of cable homes)
FCC filing
Homes with no wired internet at all
No cable, no fiber, no DSL at 25/3 or better. Satellite or cellular only.

Addresses we checked inside the T-Mobile fiber footprint
Orderable that day, or on the network operator’s record and not yet open for orders. In a build still going in, this is the market.

Where these come from. Figures tagged FCC filing are from the Federal Communications Commission’s Broadband Data Collection, filing dated December 31, 2025. That record is published twice a year, so it runs roughly six months behind what is actually in the ground, and it describes what every provider in Minneapolis reports, not what RCLX sells.
Figures tagged Measured come from live service-availability checks we ran on October 4, 2026 across Minneapolis, on a random sample of 141 addresses. Sampling means a range, not a single certainty, and the range is printed above. We run these checks precisely because the federal filing cannot see a network built after it was filed.
Providers report their own coverage to the FCC and those reports can be challenged. Advertised speeds are ceilings, not what a given house gets. Nothing on this page is a promise of territory, earnings, or service at any specific address.
